35 km/hr Winds, 13ºc and a Decent Round, Considering......

Wow was it windy and tough out there today
as mentioned above, it was blowin 35 km/hr today and kinda chilly
snuck out by myslef to do 18, as its suppose to rain for the next 5 days (what else is new......)

overall, pretty decent round - heres a quick recap:

1-almost missed my drive (got rushed to 1st tee as i didnt have a time) up and down for Par 5
2-hit it short into a 2+ club wind, chipped it to 3ft made Par 3
3-pulled drive slightly into the rough behind a big a$$ tree. Hit a 20 yd hook up and around the tree to the front of the green....did that just happen???? YEP......left 1st putt 10ft short (was a 30 foot putt) drained the Par4!! yea!
4-absoluelty crushed drive up up the guts...too good, flew the fwy just in the rough. 80 yds in, tail wind took my approach shot over. Chipped on and 2 putted for Bogey 5
5-210 yd par 3 into a 2+ club head wind. Hit 3i and put er ppin high, 2 putt par 3
6-played a nice draw around the dogleg left par 5, caught the top of the trees and ended up in the bunker...damn.....good out to 30 yds, chipped on and 2 putted Par 5
7-Crushed drive up the guts to 70 yds, hit it just on front, 3 putt Bogey 5....only 3 putt of the day
8-hit a perfect 7i into a now 2.5+ club headwind to pin high, 2 putt par 3
9-dead head wind, now a 4+ club headwind, hit driver up the middle, honestly about 200yds, on a 485 yd par. Hit 3i to 110 yds in, chipped on and 2 putt for Bogey 5

Front Nine - 3 over 38

10-pushed drive slightly right, missed green by 10 yds on approach, chipped a little thin past the hole, putted the 10 footer down Birdie 4
11-BOMBED drive just in the right part of the fwy, dogleg left, now into 2+ club headwind, hit 3i to front of green, chipped past hole 6 ft, up and down Par 4
12-BOMBED driver up the guts to 70 yds, left approach short on the fringe, chipped to 3ft, missed and Bogey 5
13-very short, 96yd downhill Par 3, hit it long into 5" of rough. Played an amazing PW to 3ft, missed and Bogey 4 (was choked about this one...i deserved a Par on that hole)
14-again, BOMBED drive up the guts, approach shot to the middle of the green, 2 putt Par 4
15-pulled drive to the left, pulled next 2 shots left, ended up Bogey 6 (WTF just happened there????)
16-my nemesis hole.......206 yd Par 3, with a now 1 club tail wind. Hit 5i just a hair fat, landed short but rolled to pin high. Literally left the ball on the lip...waited for wind to blow it in.....still waiting...waiting.....CMON WIND!!!...waiting...Par 3
17-pushed drive right, chip out from under tree to the front of the green, chip up and putt for Par 4
18-another nemesis hole for me....well it got me again.....pushed it right into the edge of the bush...got it to the front of the green, chipped on and 2 putt Bogey 5

Total Round 77 (par 71)

So as you can see, i struggled a bit from inside 100 yds, but i havent been working on that much lately, as i have been working on the putter. Work on one thing and something else falls to sh*t. Ah well, Im ok w this round, all things considered - especially the wind. WOW, I have serious windburn on my face.

So here comes the rain as we speak, so ill be indoors for the next 5 days.
