Today I played a course that was part parkland part links.
There's only 4 holes that are links but that's all it takes to make you mess up lol.

It was a really warm day but there was a stiff breeze so it was nice.

The first 4 holes were links, I only lost 1 ball in the long grass so I was happy. The greens were like rocks though. I broke out the pro v's that I had been saving and things turned out great. I was +4 for those holes.

I then went in a tunnel that's under a road and came out at the 5th teebox.
I played well from then on. I managed to get a birdie and two pars and ended up +15.
The breeze was very tough to handle, I was playing of the medal tees with my uncles, a 440 yard par 4 into a breeze is difficult to reach even with hard fairways!

It was a great course and I'd love to go back again. The greens were excellent even though there hasn't been rain in over 2 weeks, they were like carpets. Much better than the half-dead greens at my course.
