I was playing in a competition today, I shot a 82 (par 69 course).
I was hacking the ball around the course, it had rained earlier and when I got near the green i'd take out my 60* and just shoot and the pin and it'd stop dead.

I played terrible but managed to get a birdie and 5 pars.
It just shows, even if you can hardly hit the ball, you can still salvage a great score.

My handicap is coming down too, (went from 28 to 19 in 3 weeks) I'll have a proper handicap soon.
