Nickent Golf Sold to Dick's Sporting Goods

I saw in another forum that Nickent Golf was sold to Dick's Sporting goods. At least Rocco will have clubs to play with!!!  As a long time user of Nickent(see signature) I am sadden by this news. I see the same thing happening with the Nickent name, as with Walter Hagen and Maxfli-Cheap clubs for the masses. I hope they let Maltby design some high quality products,but I doubt it.  I am sure it will be a whole set for $299.00 at Dick's and Golf Galaxy.  Another good name in golf bites the dust!!!

Well the last I heard they were completely out of business. So being bought out by Dick's is better than closing the doors, right?

They still have doors?
