"Uniflex: Varying flex to fit most swing speeds."

...is what I got from ebay.

So is uniflex a good flex to have for most amateurs?

Any help is appreciated.

I got fitted for irons recently, and uniflex was what the clubs I selected came with. I asked this question to the fitter, and he said uniflex works for everyone up to a stiff, which tops out at about 105 mph driver head speed.

Incidently, it was a good thing I asked. Turns out I needed x-stiff shafts.

Essentially, Uniflex means the mfg believes "one size fits all." The cynic in me would say the uniflex shaft is an attempt to reduce working capital and labor costs by limiting inventory to "one size."

Although the Cally Fusions are a notable exception, most uniflex shafts are seen in cheaper models.
