My Swing (topspin4hand)

It's been almost 3 years since I began golfing.  This year, I broke down and shelled out some money to get lessons for the first time. I found out my grip was entirely wrong. It used to be 10-fingers with the club almost entirely in the palm of my left hand. So my pro taught me to grip it correctly (weaker grip, interlocking, etc.).  Then we worked on flattening my left wrist as I was cupping it quite a bit. This was to prevent my flipping the club at impact.

Since, the initial 2 lessons, I was really hitting the ball much more solidly and consistently, with my last 2 rounds having no duffed iron shots. My GIR hasn't improved but the balls are around the green (usually right) versus 30 yards from my approach shot before (if I had a duff or mishit).  Recently, after about a month's gap between my 2 and 3rd lesson, I (well, my pro) realized that while my left wrist was flatter than it used to be, it still cups some, however, the bigger flaw my pro saw was that my left wrist was pointed upwards to the sky at the top of my backswing thus opening the clubface.  Honestly, trying to fix that (pointing my that left wrist more horizontally with the ground) has been DIFFICULT. Shanked about 27 out of 30 with him trying to fix. Lots of range work in the future.

Sorry there's just one swing on the video (7 or 8-iron I believe), will research some iPhone video software and get more swings/angles soon. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
