I have had a 2010 Burner Superfast stiff factory shaft. I have ben playing with all spring & summer. I liked it at first.  It can hit it a mile but now I'm thinking it could be better.

My issue with it is that it just feels kind of too whippy and not a great feel for the head. I bought it used and they had put a grip on it that was too heavy so I already put a lighter grip on it. That helped some. The Taylor Made Matrix Ozik shaft is so light the stock shaft is around 45 gr.

most shafts I have looked at are 60 to 75 I'm not sure how that will affect it

I'm worried about putting something else on it that might really screw it up

There are so many Driver shafts I don't know where to start. . .  My old driver was a Dynacraft

with a Grafaloy Blue shaft and  I liked the stable feel it had.

I'm 6'5" and swing a driver 100 to 110 any ideas? Maybe the kick point is too low, maybe I should just get it spined? I have seen video on You Tube where they were saying many factory shafts are not very good.

Is that something that is true? Thanks

    • Posted a couple swings here. I think my attempt to blend the movement still results in a more “around” back swing?
    • I never heard dislike for them.  From my perspective, they are just like any other club. Though, they were always probably over-priced, until recently as other club manufacturers have been raising prices the past 5+ years. You had to wait for them to go on sale, which you can get them closer to other club manufacturers.  They sell good clubs. Nothing crazy..
    • Why do so many people dislike PXG clubs and constantly criticize them? All the folks at my club and especially online, I never hear good things about them except from people who bought them and defend them. They look fine to me but curious is there some sort of quality issue or is it just stereotyping the buyers.
    • I have the LM1 launch monitor and I’ve been very impressed. I agree with your assessment and it’s very accurate for me and ease of use is wonderful. The price point of $199 is very hard to beat with this form factor and performance. I was previously using a PRGR.
