I have a chance to purchase quite a few 2005 totally mint ProV1s at what I consider to be an exceptional price of about $1.25/ball. My first thought was no way, they are too old. But now I am reconsidering. First of all I am not that good usually shooting in the low 80s so would it really make any difference to my game? Probably not. Secondly although ProV1 does make miniscule improvements each year these are probably pretty much the same ball as they are selling today. They look very much the same with some tiny changes to the side markings, they probably go virtually as far, they probably fly the same and they probably feel the same. Does a ball sitting in a house lose anything by sitting there unused for 6 years?

Would you use a ball this old that was in mint condition or if you have did it really make any difference to your game?

Help and thanks in advance for your help.
