It is pricey, but if you stay on the resort you can access all the courses (at a cost). I have only played the Landing course, it was very nice

It's been a while since I played out there, but I heard they were facing bankruptcy so, maybe it will be cheaper now.

Reynolds is a great resort...and definitely expensive!  We go on a couples' long weekend trip annually.  The Ritz is a gorgeous hotel, very "lodge-y" feel that's right at home in the woods. The spa (per my wife) is fantastic, and the food is superb.

The best courses there are the Oconee and Great Waters.  I believe the Oconee is more than $200/round in season, and Great Waters is about the same (i've not played it, was undergoing renovation the past few years).  i've also played the Plantation Course--it's a little more of a user-friendly "resort course" (i.e. wider fairways, far fewer forced carries etc unlike the brutal closing holes of the Oconee)...but it's still in great shape (at least when I played it a few years ago) and very scenic.

The entire real estate development had big time financial issues, although it supposedly hasn't affected the golf courses (or conditioning) much, although i heard they were rotating closures each course one day per week.
