Day 47: 1/27/2027 Went to the range today to work on my priority piece. Overall, I felt good about the swing. I started with some block practice with the 6 iron. But then got in some random practice, hitting each club to specific targets. -

I don't think that part is necessarily true at all. And his screwdriver thing made little sense. Screwdrivers with thicker handles increase the moment arm, so the same amount of force creates a bit more torque, but that's the only reason you might squeeze a bit less firmly, but only because of the mechanical advantage you get. That's not the same as what you need to do in golf. There are a lot of things that seem like common sense that are almost more the opposite. This may be one of them. -

Day 119 - 2025-01-27 Went to Golf Evolution for four hours this morning. Got about an hour of practice in, farted around a little bit, and cleaned up a little bit. -

I know a GHIN membership in the Mitten costs $47 when purchased from a public course. The City League computation may not include PCC for playing conditions. The "soft" and "hard" caps are also likely omitted. When we calculated competiton indexes for our members, we used the GHIN formula but our spread sheet did not include the caps.
