Dead Aim Putters

5 posts in this topic

Has any members of the sandtrap tried a Dead Aim putter? I just heard about their site today. http://www.deadaimputters.com/ They look like they have a unique alignment aid... And a nice laser attachment to practice with. I'm curious to hear any feedback from the members that have tried one out.

Looks interesting, but my trouble is usually left and right not adding loft or delofting the putter.

If your putter is properly adjusted (bent), you should be able to address the ball and let the sole rest and be set, right?

I purchased a "Dead Aim Putter" just as a practice tool for alignment, but found it to have great feel and weight, have been using it for months and I am quite good with it.  I was a little perturbed at the quality control department that let out a  putter with the grip aiming at least 20 degrees to the left.  I swithched out to a similar winn grip and now it is actually "Dead Aim" straight on.

i have tried it at the PGA show in Orlando. Will it improve your putting? I don't know, but I know it will not make you worse. :) I suggest you start off with this putter when your putting, then switch to your putter and practice. equipment doesn't replace practice time. For the most part, you can only get better if you practice more.
