I am 6'10'' and play with clubs extended 1.5 inches (only becuase they will not extend them farther). I like to stand more upright (go figure), but my putter is the standard 35''. I feel like I am hunched over like crazy, or should be putting from my knees. I really like the 41" Ping, but it is made as a "Belly Putter." Do you think they can put a standard grip on a 41" putter, and it look normal? I am not really a "clubs must look good" kind of guy, but I hate that the grip on the belly putter is so long down the shaft. Thanks for your input.

Well, I'm 5'9" so giving any sort of advice on length of clubs to someone 6'10" may be useless so take it for what it is. But let me ask you this, do any putters look normal these days? OK, some do, but look at all the spaceships out there. I do know, especially when it comes to putters that it's all about what's comfortable to you and what you can make putts with. If buying a belly putter and gripping it like a "standard" putter is comfortable and helps you make putts then by all means do it. If you start making lots of putts then I imagine you'd see others trying that style
