Just ordered a Nike vr fairway wood with an adjustable head. How easy is it to adjust? Any special tools needed? Is it pretty easy to just put it at the most neutral setting and forget about all this fancy high tech mumbo jumbo? Thanks!!

Your club should come with a special wrench to make the adjustments. Although easy to do, the setting can be a bit confusing, but once you figure out what each setting does it's quite simple. You should also get a manual that details all the settings.

So my question about the Nike adjustable driver is this:  Wouldn't rotating the grip in the hands to open up the club head at address accomplish the same thing as adjusting the club head with the wrench?

bought it used from global golf.  Didn't come with a wrench.  Worth getting or just keep it at neutral?

I would get the wrench just to have it, maybe even test out the different settings at the range for fun. Leave it in the nuetral setting for practice and rounds though. I think its better to adjust your swing and not your club, and if you adjust your club it can have bad effects on your swing over time. This is my reference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHuY8nxUYQ4&feature;=relmfu , you should watch this vid.  I have an adjustable driver and had it set up for right to left flight but switch back to neutral after watching this.

Sincerely, Jim
