Hi,

I will be making a trans-atlantic trip and need a hard golf case to carry my clubs safely. I looked up amazon and liked the

Samsonite Hardside Golf Travel Case

I use a titleist light weight cart bag as shown here. My question is will this bag with all the clubs fit in this or any hard case bag?

To someone uses the hard cases for traveling my question is : is it a good investment? Do you always put the whole bag in it or just the clubs? I have never used any hard case for travel before and do not have any store around where i live that has one for me to see in person.

Thanks in advance for any response :)

Yes it will.easily. most airlines have guidelines on what u can put in the bag. 14 clubs, 12 balls, 1 pair of shoes, I had more balls and it wasn't a prob. But they did take all my clubs out, they where all out of order when I opened and got to my destination.

I had a SKB hard case that would take a full size staff bag without issue, so I would imagine the hard case you are looking at would handle a cart bag.  I would also suggest getting something like the Club Glove stiff arm http://www.golfsmith.com/product/30025351/club-glove-stiff-arm which might be overkill for a hard case or wrap a towel or clothing around the shafts so they don't get banged around and broken.
