I bought a R11S with a regular shaft.  When I swing the club, the head lagged so far behind that I could not control it.  I bought a stiff shaft but iy feel like hitting a baseball bat.  Both shafts are RIP phenom 60 grams.  Is there a way to get a "firm" shaft that is between these two?  Thank you for any impute.

I'm no shaft expert but I know I had an issue playing the RIP as well. I switched to a Project X 5.5 and haven't looked back. I seem to play this shaft better than anything I have tried lately, you could possibly even step it to the 6.0.

Ditto.......I also switched to the Project X shaft.....I have them in my Driver and my irons.

While I am not a fast swinger (Avg SS is 87 mph), I found that the PX 5.0 has a stiffer lower section that enables me to hit my drives much straighter than all the other drivers and shafts.  I moved to the Mizuno MP-53's when i found a used set with PX 4.5's......they are so straight....everything I looked up aon the web said that the 4.5 was a Regular shaft and the 5.0 was a Firm.
