    • Fair enough. By wiggly I just mean the bit about stepping hard or the like doesn't count. Like, what if the player says they plan on playing the lie with massive weight on the front foot and ball back in the stance to try ensure no bounce interaction to prevent the club getting sucked into the soggy turf before the ball, and it's only with ~80% of weight on the front foot that you can see water? But I was more wondering what the announcers were complaining about?
    • Shot a 48, with not lost ball, no penalties, no bunkers, no 2nd short game shots, and no three putts.
    • Day 5 - extremely long range practice session. Probably one of my best practice sessions ever. Doing things in slow motion is like 5x'ing the effectiveness of the practice. Also, I need these same "falling into lead leg" feels on my wedges. And guess what? Practicing this feel on shorter wedges is ALSO EASIER AND MORE EFFECTIVE. Combining much slower than full speed practice with shorter (50-90 yard) shot practice was really good. Change the picture on these shorter shots first. Feel like I'm keeping my arms as straight as possible on the backswing while hinging my wrists earlier is an incredible feel. I feel like this is doing stuff to my sequencing somehow? Much less rushed at the top because hinging was done at a reasonable time? One note someone made on my swing thread before I went on a hiatus was regarding this so I played around with it.  Clubs that don't require as much weight/pressure shift feel fantastic (driver/3-wood/hybrid), but that's almost always been the case.
    • The latest bit of analysis on Stryper products.  Swing Aid Comparison - Blue Brick v SwingMate v Swing Plane Perfector A side-by-side comparison of features and price between Clay Ballard's Blue Brick, the Swing Plane Perfector and Stryper's SwingMate full swing training aids.
    • Correct, just like relief from a sprinkler head; you can't take a giant stance to put it in play (unless of course that is genuinely how you play). If you take your normal stance and water is visible you get relief, if you have to jump to stand on one foot to get it to show no relief. IF the rule was that if you could get water to show at all, there would have been nowhere on that course anyone could play. I can't comprehend why the ruling has become so controversial, I think Sam called 2 officials to see if one would maybe be more lax than the other, but besides that he knew the rule which is why even he didn't make a huge deal out of it to either offical.
