My Swing (Uberdave223)

I've been Playing Golf for: 10 years off and on (last three years seriously)

My current handicap index or av erage score is: 7.3 (official GHIN handicap)

My typical ball flight is: a fade

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: When the fade turns into a hard slice.  Also, never been able to shape the ball right to left (hit the range yesterday though and was actually able to do so).

Just a little backstory on this, I am trying to use the impact bag so I mostly wanted someone to tell me if I'm using it right? It "feels" like I get the handle forward of the head at impact, but in one of the swings it looks like I cast the club (first swing in the face-on view).  So, I'd appreciate feedback on the swing itself, but also comments on how I look using the impact bag.

Hi Dave, recommend you check out this thread.

Turning your feet out will accomplish two things.

- Help you turn your hips and keep them centered on the backswing. Your hips slide back.

- That makes it hard for them and the weight to get forward enough on the downswing.
