Any one game a 16 or 17 hybrid i use a 20 right now looking for something maybe in between a 5 wood and 3hybrid 20 degree gettin about 210 put of it now maybe less though need to dial in distance a little better just curious how a 2 hyrid compares in hitting to a 5 wood

Club maker reps would say to avoid the 17* / 2H unless you generate quite a bit of clubhead speed. Otherwise, you might find it hard to hit out of the rough.

Note that the 2H clubs normally have Pro or Tour head designs with low offset.

As for distance, an 18* or 19* 5W might give you more distance due to a longer shaft. Any chance you could hit the 2H and 5W side-by-side and compare them?

I game older Callaway X hybrids with steel shafts... 18-21-24. I love the 2h and its actually the oldest club in my bag. If you swing flat, the 5 wood is probably easier, upright and the hybrid is. Some people love fairway woods and some love hybrids. I'm the latter. If you like your 3h than by all means a 2h is a logical choice.

I have a 17 degree Ping G15 that I use instead of a 5 wood.

Try a 19 degree Adams a4r boxer. Small head good size face a bit of offset. Great club for getting out of rough. I used one and upgraded to a Callaway Diablo edge tour 18 degree.

In my  bag:

Driver, Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 9.5 stiff

3, 5 woods: Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 15,18 degrees Stiff

2 hybrid: Callaway Diable Edge Tour 18 degrees R (out when the 5 wood is in)

3,6 hybrids: Callaway Diablo Edge 21 S and 30 degrees R

4,5 hybrids: Callaway Razr X HL 24 and 27 degrees Stiff

7-AW irons: Callaway Razr HL graphite R shafts

SW 54 Callaway X Series Jaws CC Slate Fujikura Graphite Stiff

Putter: Odessey White Ice 1 Blade Putter.

Ball...looking for any ball that hates water, sand, long grass, and getting lost in the woods.

I can't find any, so forced to use ones that seem to love all the above.
