I've been Playing Golf for: 5 year

My current handicap index or average score is: 93

My typical ball flight is: hook

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is:

HOOK

Any advice would be greatly appreciate, began golf as a slicer now I have a terrible hook.  Anything with less loft than a 7 iron is uncontrollable.  Very uncomfortable over the ball as I tend to really want to grip the club very strong naturally which I know promotes the hook so I fight it best as possible.  Thanks.

Looks like your toe line is well right of where I assume your target is (instead of parallel to the target line).

That would put the target line for a straight shot even further right.

From that position your mind knows that you are going to have to close the club face to get the ball back on target. Definitely would eliminate the slicing problem but any over-rotation is going to be a hook.
