Hello from Arkansas

Hi, I'm pretty new to golf but playing a lot now. I had flirted with the game for the past few years, playing 2-3 times a summer. But last summer, my parents moved to Hot Springs Village, a gated golf community in Arkansas, and my dad got obsessed with golf. So, now I go and play with him typically at least twice a month.

I am also lucky enough to have a wife that enjoys playing so we will go to the range together or to one of the cheaper courses closer to home in Little Rock from time to time.

I am still learning, and still working on my dreaded slice, but have improved a lot. I was shooting 130-140 when I really started playing and last weekend I shot my best round, a 107 , at a pretty tough course in Hot Springs Village. Every round has gone down a few strokes recently so I am hoping to improve and get below 100 consistantly.

I'll be looking at a lot of reviews here, and probably post my swing eventually if I can't knock out this slice all the way. It's gotten better, I hit 9/14 fairways last week, but a lot of that was adjusting for my fade.
