OP I wouldn't make too much of those interviews. It's not really a "wow" when you consider Rose was attempting to bring up garbage and Tiger just refused to go there. So good for him.
That said I have always felt Tiger's biggest concern was his personal problems. They far outweigh his health and all the swing changes. Jack always had the family as a priority and it made a huge difference in a game that is so demanding mentally.
But we have both a House and the Senate.
Yet the way we elect the President is more like the House… except that every representative is from the same party and has to vote the same way.
So why not award the two (Senate) votes to the popular winner, and then divide up the others (the House votes) by the percentage. California might be 2 (Senate) + 60% * 53 = 32. So 34 Democrat, 21 Republican.
