Ping Raptor 2 Iron

So I read that Ping will be releasing a 2 iron come 2014. I've contemplated purchasing this 2 iron as something I could use for tight fairways or when my driver isn't working.  I want something I can rely on to hit the fairway.. Would this be a good purchase or not ??

Any thoughts?

Should be a great fairway finder, especially off the tee.  Is it going to be traditional iron or a driving iron?
