Hello all!

Not new to golfing but things recently have switched from having beer while I just so happen to be golfing to golfing while I just so happen to have a beer.

Been going to the range 2-3 times a week for a month now and going out for 18 Thursday.

It will be my first time consciously keeping score to obtain my handicap and work on my game.

Lately I have been working a lot on my irons and have a lot more confidence with them. I think I could walk around all day with my 9 iron and be happy lol.

Joined the forum to get tips/advice and whatnot. I plan on getting some lessons shortly, just choosing a course first. I have a lot in my area.

Look forward to learning. For now I am treading lightly.

Hey thanks!

Grew up down the street from Midway airport near 63rd and Narragansett and lived there till I was 22.

Moved out to Westmont with my fiance for the larger house/value. 26 now.

Figured its easier to say Chicago on a forum.
