I have recently had a new shaft put into my Callaway X Hot driver by Callaway but it seems like the adapter is coming off. Does anyone have any knowledge with this and if it's fine for me to keep playing with it like this.

I think it's fine and mostly a cosmetic thing.  Looks like it's just the ferrel.  If you want it fixed, call customer service at Callaway and they can help you.

Thanks for this. I just wasn't sure. I'll also take it in just for them to check as well.
