There's a guy named David Byrne, psycho killer, haha.

Fred Funk's son

Lee Janzen

Paul Casey, Tim Clark - didn't think they needed to qualify

K.J. Choi - Aw crap, I picked him in the contest. He's gotta qualify?

Casey needs to qualify for pretty much everything in the US because he has done so little over there because of injuries. He won't need to qualify for the Open in the UK because he's been a top-ten finisher in that a couple of times. (I actually have a bet on him for that at 80/1, because a couple of weeks ago I noticed he was coming back to form, and I'm pleased to say his odds have shortened considerably following his performance at the Memorial). I hope he does qualify for the US Open and that he does well. He's a great ball-striker, and has a reputation for being a really nice guy, and he's had a tough time.

The more I practise, the luckier I hope to get.

Quite a few of big names, hoping KJ can qualify and several other names such as Duval, Weir, Leonard, and David Toms

It looks like KJ won't qualify :( and it appears that the us open qualifying leaderboard is broken, duvals been stuck at -3 and not started round two for a few hours. Justin Leonard did qualify though, so that's nice.

    • I got scammed one time on FBM so I don’t trust it.
    • Yeah I’ve tried it but I don’t feel very comfortable doing it like that. Isn’t there like a website where I can do it so it’s safer??
    • Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.
    • It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
