Bubba's Swing versus Jack's Swing

Two very similar swings!!!

Just looking at those two, there are definitely the similarities they note in the video, but the thing that strikes me is how much more fade dedicated Nicklaus' swing looks than Bubba's.  I know Bubba fades the driver.  But to me it looks like you can see how much closer he is to turning it over, how he can easily adapt that swing to draw the irons. Bubba's hip doesn't come as far forward and doesn't drive forward and bow deep into the follow through like Nicklaus'.  Not like Nicklaus wasn't getting the club face back to where he wanted or anything and getting out of sequence like an amateur pusher/slicer.  But just looks much more fade dedicated that Bubba's swing to me.

Interesting to see cause I haven't looked at Nicklaus' swing in a long time and it's really notable how different it looks than most modern pros' swings where the majority are drawing their stock shots and the faders aren't (I think) fading it as much or with as open a stance as Nicklaus.

I don't pretend to be a swing expert but other than the lead heel coming off of the ground, they don't seem that similar to me. Jack rotated his hips a lot more than Bubba (or most anyone with a more modern swing) and his knee came further toward his trailing side than Watson. Look how much of Jack's lower back is facing the target vs Bubba's. On release, Bubba cleared his hips further than Jack. Current players create a larger angle between their shoulder and hip turn which crates more tension and release.
