I am also interested.

The Duo Spin is a 3 piece low compression ball, similar to the TF Gamer Soft that I currently play (and have had good results with). The Wilson balls are more widely available, similarly priced, and I have a soft spot for Wilson so I would not be disinclined to switch if I could get similar or better results.

So they've finally released the Duo Spin?

I suspect this is simlar to or even the same as the DX3 soft which they've been selling in Europe as the softest multi-layer ball since 2013. The Duo Spin actually showed up on the USGA conforming ball list early in 2014, but then it seems they didn't release it until now. I was thinking they were probably waiting as stock of the older FG Tours was selling off at around where they wanted to price this.

With the Duo selling well in the $20 range, I figured they'd what to price a 3-piece version in the $25-30 range, and then keep the price at $35+ on the newer 4-piece FG Tour.

Basically it sounds like a Duo, but with the DuPont HPF mantle layer presumably allowing for lower spin on drives and longer shots and higher spin around the green.

Just got back back from course the new duo is marshmellow soft not in a bad way feels like you can crush it. When I purchased them they gave me 2pk. Sample of the Chrome Soft this ball is sick good it stops on a dime and distance is amazing.
