I think you're confusing ball speed with swing speed. Almost nobody in the world swings a standard driver 150 MPH. 150 MPH would result in the ball carrying 375 yards or so and 167 would send the ball well over 410 yards.

I thought he meant kmph instead of mph, as is the normal way in Scandanavia.

Just saw that the person before me thought the same.

When I got fitted for my driver I was hovering between 108 and 112. Ball speed cracked 170 a few times. I hit a pretty high ball, so if it's into the wind it goes nowhere, and downwind carries forever. I'd really like to be able to hit it low with my driver - I think that will be one of my goals for next year.

I played in a scramble last weekend. 8th hole was a 351 yard par 4. We used my drive, and had 58 yards to a front pin. Probably the best drive I've hit in a long time.

Ok, I think it's been well established that wasn't his swing speed in mph. The conversion for kilometers per hour and miles per hour is a factor of 1.609 so 170 kph swing speed would correlate to a 105 mph swing.

Yes, Scandenavia would be metric so I think the above answer makes sense.

My ball speed two years ago was around 165 on a good hit. My swing is different now, little slower but more consistent. I would like to get fit for irons, driver, and a ball. Where is the best place to get fit for all of those things at once? Nobody around here fits for balls that I know.

Swing = Stacked and On Plane when possible.

Golf Galaxy will fit you for all three. I think they charge $20 to fit for a ball.
