I've been Playing Golf for: 17 Years (29 years old now)

My current handicap index or average score is: 10.4

My typical ball flight is: High

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: I miss all over the place... Draws, Pushes, the occasional slice.

Intro:

Hey everyone!  Love this forum and have read through thousands of your thoughts and posts here over the years. Now this is the year where I'm on a mission to really improve my swing. I'm committed to changing anything and everything at this point to bring my game to the next level.  I'm a graduate student I don't have extra $$ to spend on Pro lessons at the moment, but the good news is I love practicing on the range and applying tips I read on this site. Huge shoutout to Erik and the rest of the moderators and contributors for sharing their wisdom here.

Last Year's Swings:

My commitment to you: I will provide edited, HD slow motion swing videos (with proper camera setup as outlined in other posts) on a regular basis so you can track my progress.

What tips/drills can you share with me?

Thanks guys!

Hi, welcome to the site. You have a lot of good pieces on the backswing, just need to clean up some things on the downswing. Here's what I would recommend.

- Get the first pad of the trigger finger more on the side of the shaft (right hand).

- Turn both feet out, will help you turn more and lessen how much the head lowers on the backswing.

- Turning the feet out will also allow the left knee to transfer forward longer, you may also have to be aware to keep it flexed longer into the downswing. This will get you to extend or straighten the legs at the right sequence so they don't "collapse", which can have an effect how path, contact, etc.
