Hello,

I went to the fitter recently.  I have requested him to put the ahina with the sdlr adapter tip. The ahina is . 355 and the adapter sleeve is .355.  I watched him doing my driver shaft installation.  He put a shim on the shaft tip and then put into the adapter.  I have asked him why and he says it's fine especially there's no ferrule installed as well.  I thought shaft with  . 355 tip with a . 355 would require no shim.  I am pretty confused.

Thanks
