Just got back from my yearly pilgrimage to Smith Mtn Lake in VA.  We played, The Water's Edge Country Club, which I had the opportunity to play a couple of years ago.  Very nice course, hot weather hurt the conditions a little but still a very nice layout.  Not overly difficult but has some really good holes.  Shot 37-40-77, played a couple of holes poorly, but hit the ball pretty well. 

'Second day we went to Salem VA and played Hidden Valley Country Club.  Very nice course as well. A lot hillier than I would've thought, but not very many level lies.  Shot 40-39-79. Had 3 doubles and 3 birdies. Hit my driver poorly most of the. Day.

Third day was the best course, got to play the Keswick Club in Charlottestville.  May be the best PB Dye I've played, they referred to it as PB Dye lite as he didn't do the original layout, he just updated it.  Shot 40-37-77 .  Hit the driver OK, need to figure that damn thing out.
