To all my fellow Arizonians,

What are your reactions to the whole plan with Karsten ASU golf course?

Also what is your knowledge of the switch from Karsten to Papago?

I for one am super upset about the whole thing because Karsten is the best golf course in Tempe. It has a really unique design and is one of the most hilly golf courses in Arizona. i am gonna be sad to ssee this one go, but I also love Papago. I just want to hear everyone's thoughts.

I never got a chance to play there but always wanted to. It's a shame they are getting rid of it.

I don't like it because of the attention Papago will get now. It has always been popular, but it will lose that old school muni feel. For a grit like me who has a group of cheap ass grit group I play with, our days will be numbered at papago once green fees skyrocket. The course was dropped from the city card already although they do grandfather a slihht doscount. Phil is building a Pelz type practice facility for ASU. I learned to cut my teeth on this course.
