A spot of Bother

I was playing today (well trying to play) in glen of the downs in wicklow (Ireland) and arrived at the par 3 16th i took out my 9 iron played the shot and to my horror the club head fell off.
the club is a nike pro combo the first ones and not neglected it has a regular graphite shaft and i'm wondering what my options are as I kinda need it

contact Nike directly and see what they tell you. they may send you to your closest Nike dealer and have them exchange it for you. Most manufacturers have great customer service. Let us know how it works out for you.

It sounds like the glue holding the club head to the shaft has come loose - it happens, its not bad manufacturing, and if they will not repair it for free (as it will probably be well out of warranty) or the repair would take to long, it would be a cheap repair job for any local club fitter.

i dont think it was the glue as there is still pieces of the shaft in the clubhead. it actually looks like the shaft has snapped.

p.s does anyone know an average price to re-shaft an entire iron set as they are all stock nike graphite shafts

Oh I see, It all depends on the shaft you want mate, I would look up some prices for you now but I am suppose to be revising for exams :( I will do some research tonight when I get home. :)
