For all you fellow golfers, I just came across a post talking about the new site design for the " golf channel ", so I thought I would take a look at it to see what they did. Well, to my surprise I saw an almost exact replica of my site NCGolfers !

The Page layout, Margins and Padding are all the "exact" same figures, Logo's and and blocks in the same place... even the way there articles and info is laid out is the same!

I cannot believe that a large company like this would need to rip off my design, which I put over 4 months of work into...

The sad thing is they even advertise on my site in the bottom footer and have been for a half a year, maybe that's where they got the idea from...

Here's the Links http://www.thegolfchannel.com/

What would you do about this? Opinions? Please Comment
I've wrote them an email, but this is somewhat of a copy right infringement on design...

Also my site design has been featured on many Web Design Awards sites... What a shame...

Thanks,
Wayne

PS: Ya know I can't Say that they are EXACT, But It's Way to Close For Comfort
AND IT'S CLEAR THE THAT THE GOLF CHANNEL { USED MY DESIGN TO MAKE THEIRS }

Gotta agree with you, looks pretty close.

Beware of old dudes with old clubs and new grips.

They are very similar. I was impressed with the look of their redesign, so I guess that compliment should be direct at you.

Oh, i totally agree... I'm really upset right now, cause I've put 8month plus work into tweaking the design etc to make it perfect, and i c this now... makes me sick to my stomach, cause now people will get used to theirs and think i copied it. When we all here and see that's not the case...

They didn't use your site. You're off your rocker.

Thread closed. I can't stand baseless allegations and this is easily one of them.

    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
    • I would say both are equally not the best for golf. Is it better than nothing, sure.  Golf is an athletic motion. Professional golfers are doing a comprehensive workout routine focusing on strength, power, flexibility, stability. They might include some yoga into the routine. I would put both of them in the recovery bin, not golf enhancement bin.  If you want to increase swing speed, core strength, longevity in golf and life, then lift heavy weights.
