Day 220 - 2025-05-08 Had a rescheduled lesson on a work day otherwise, so got some practice in while listening to my Alison playlist a bit too loudly. 😉

As noted above, we're going to take two-day participants over one-day participants, and fill in as needed. Consider coming Saturday too to lock up a spot. It's not like we won't have people driving out (Mike, Richard, me, etc.) from Erie.

Tough to say without knowing your gapping, your swing speed… etc. Have you done a fitting recently?

Day 217 - 2025-05-05 Got an hour of practice in today. Shorter backswings lead to more shaft lean and lower shots with better contact. But the downswing is still the main deal.

Yeah, that's… not gonna happen. Not any time soon. 😉 I talk quickly. And… a lot of podcast listeners listen on 1.5x or something. So, maybe they slow down the podcasts I'm on a little bit. 😄

Older vs Current Putter Weight Differences
iacas replied to wetzel1592's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I don't really agree with that. Nor that. The commonality among the game's best putters (not 100%, as I'm in that group 😄) is that they generally use lighter putters. The science is that they have more fine-grained control over the speed. -

Older vs Current Putter Weight Differences
iacas replied to wetzel1592's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Then again why do the best putters tend to have the lighter putters? Tiger's putter is under 500g. -
I listened to it today and I’m very proud of this one. Normally when I do something I am only critical of the things that I could have or should have done better and on this one I really didn’t have a list at all. I’m very pleased with how this interview went and the information shared and the way it was shared and everything. #65 - Digging into the Data Between Pro’s & Amateur’s Swings — Fit For Golf Erik Barzeski, a highly renowned golf coach joins the show to discuss some of the key differences between pro... You can find it on Spotify or Apple podcasts or elsewhere of course but that link will also work. Please give a listen and let me know what you think. And trust me, if you have something critical, that’s good too. That’s generally actually what I want to hear about. 😜
