Sorry, I went away for a few days. What constitutes a $150 light. I also work at a higher end golf club and we have built a great indoor practice facility our pro is struggling with this problem also. Maybe I can win favor with him for a few lessons! LOL -

Thanks for the reply. I have looked around a bit. The issue in the Casio is indoors filming. I am fortunate enough to work at a golf club and we have a great indoor hitting facility. The quality out side is great but nothing shows up inside. I even hung 4- 300 watt lights just above the mat. -

Original AP1 upgrade to AP2 712 Too Much?
evan01 replied to evan01's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Thanks for the chart. I am 50 and would hope there is time for me to improve my game. The fact you have more room to work the ball gives me and area that I can practise and try to work into my game. I heard they have worked on the distance factor. Possible the club was a little to forgiving and not letting people hit it as long as they should. -
I have been playing with an original set of AP1's, Thinking of passing the old clubs down to my son. I play at about a 10 handicap. Is it too much of an upgrade to go the latest and greatest of the AP line? AP2 712?

Funny I have played on two different positions on scramble teams. First team a 2,4 5 and a 12 handicap team. they just play straight up no gimmicks and win most of the time there is no winning prize but some cheap trophy the prize is the $$ that goes into my cousins foundation for ALS. The second outing is for a local music program low budget and the prize is $300 cash you can buy as many mulligans as you want and the people that win actually take the $$. The ALS outing has raised over $2 million dollars in 10 years big hitters of obviously but very generous, the music outing is local blue collar people trying to help local students and the jerks show up just want the cheap cash! America baby it's a great place!

Thank You for your reply Zeph! Am I to look at all the sites you posted or are they backup / recommendations of the same mat?

I work at a private golf club we are contemplating installing synthetic mats on our range. We now have a beautiful natural grass range and as the economy has changed many clubs we bring in a lot of private fund raising groups , corporate golf outings even the wet days our range takes a beating . What are our options if we want to put a strip of synthetic turf in to send the groups to?

7 Days in utopia. Quick nice read. written by David L, Cook PhD. He is a sport mental coach. Great story lets you understand that golf is so wrapped around the head game we must let go just enjoy the game go out with your buddies and thank god we have the opportunity to even play the game. That's right game. Go play some day with your best group don't count the score and it will be the best fun you will have had on the links in a long time.

i like the idea of aiming just past the hole. Your own thought? do you see the ball falling in the hole more often than not?

I just finished 18 and missed 6 4'-5' par putts could have had a round for the ages instead average. Hey I played still happy but does anyone know of a good practice routine for this distance. Most of the putts where sliders. Not just flat straight putts.

Usually just a wipe with the towel is all you need. How long did you wait? Let them sit for a day . Should be ok then.

Could you be s kind as to describe in golf speak what motor boating a pair of boobs is. Do they have to be a specific size?

Mr. Artimas, the biggest problem facing poor golfers is grip and stance. Having said that I am sure your are ok in that catagory. Tempo is next many high handicapers swing very fast or hard (muscle). Start with a gap wedge 48*-50* you need to hit these clubs slow and smoooooth. If you are hitting them 75-100 yards and feel comfortable pick up the 8 iron ,hit a few balls if you are smooth after 10 balls go to a 7 iron. Key here is if you loose the tempo go back to the gap wedge regain your smoooth tempo and start over. The again big key is slow smooooth tempo ie Freddy Couples. I know he is a pro but it works. Let me know how it works. Works for me. Good Luck and be patient is is a great game.

My friend ! That is not a hard shot . don't dig in hit a normal wedge and skim the sand. Think that you are in the middle of a fairway. Do this shot from 200, 150, 100. I am 15 handicap and have no fear.
