  1. I hit my PW 130-135...GW 100-110...SW..Don't really use my CG14 outside of the green, as it's a club that I don't trust yet, and I'm considering changing it. I definitely need a club that I can hit from 70-90 yards...I can hit the 56 degree about 50 yards.
  2. Like TaylorMade Any? JK...Some nice bag setups!!!
  3. Looks like a great bag!!! Have a great season!!
  4. Actually, could GG or Golf smith bend my 56 to 54? Or do you recommend getting a new club..
  5. Gap wedge is 49 and PW is 44. I JUST got the new JPX 800's, so now I might do a 54 and a 58 degree, and trade in my 56.
  6. Right now I only have 2 wedges, a Gap wedge and a 56 (CG14). My irons are from 4-PW and also have a R9 driver and a Nike SQ 5 wood, and will also be adding something in between my 4 and my 5 wood (suggestions please!!!). My gap wedge is a 49 degree which I hit about 100-110 yards. I really use my 56 around the green and sand, since I'm not confident in it yet from 50-60 yards. Therefore, what would you get in this situation?
  7. Thanks Maxpower, as your post helped me out as well...
  8. If I make it through the front 9 without losing a ball, I'm happy and usually will feel confident enough that I won't lose another one the rest of the day. However, if I lose 2-3 in the front 9, I could care less if I lose 2-3 more the rest of the day, I probably deserve it.
  9. I care!! Haha, who knows!! Maybe he's the poker dealer from the casino the other night.
  10. Undisclosed amount...Whatever it is, Tiger will pay it. I think this should be a lesson to everyone out there who treats greens like they're ashtrays. I've seen (ON A PRIVATE COURSE) burn marks from people who HAD to put out their cigar on greens, cigarette butts, to something as simple as divots not being fixed. The green is the place that should get the "royal" treatment!!! I do think fame and money got to Tiger. He thinks that he can STILL do whatever he wants and not get reprimanded for it. We all make mistakes, but he obviously hasn't learned his lesson.
  11. I never saw your previous post, but why are you selling the set? GREAT DEAL btw!! Just got a new set of JPX-800's, great luck with the sale!!
  12. All I heard there was....ME ME ME ME ME...I did this...I Won this...I have this and will get fitted for new clubs...Glad you won big man, you have the cojones and the money to bet $100's.
  13. I agree with your approach...I am a big short game person, and do agree you tend to see the biggest differences when you're around the green.
  14. Yea, one day I owned the R9, and didn't like it, so the next day I bought the R11, and the Burner Superfast.....PLEASE....I'd pick a driver, make sure you get properly fitted and pick the right shaft for your swing, and stick with it, break it in and don't get a new driver every other week. Yes, new drivers come out every three months, and it's tempting to get the "new" technology, but that's just my opinion.
  15. Srixon is my favorite ball out there right now. Love the Z StarS!!!!
  16. They're coming to Philly this weeked, and I wanted to know if anyone's ever been to one of these shows. Is it worth it? The $10 admission comes with a year subscription to Golf Magazine, so that's worth it in itself, but give me your opinion if you've gone.
  17. Nah, don't play it myself, but would love to hear from someone who does as well!
  18. I'd get them. Just find out why they're a 6-7 out of 10. Considering it's a 2011 club, 20 rounds is not that bad, but ask if the clubs have any major wear and tear, but overall, more than 50% off for a 2011 club and a GREAT one, is a great deal!!
  19. I heard Golf Gala#y gives you a list of high mid and low priced balls to pick from as well, which I think is great! I'm gonna do it in the near future and will update on the results. If anyone has more advice, please let me know!
  20. To be honest with you, if the guy wants to spend $1k and still shoot in the 100's, let him do it, it's an experience that a lot of golfers will go through before realizing, holy crap, it's not the equipment, it's their game! I agree with you Twinn on the Cobra S2's, they look clunky, but my best advice is not to go by the look of a club, I'd try to stick with what you have and continue to practice and get to the range. It's a never ending story with the equipment, you get something brand new one month, and 3 months later the next technology comes out!! Good luck finding your game, it sure took me a while and I continue to try to improve every chance I get!
  21. Some beautiful shots!! I'm second on the list, I'd love to get some for my computer!!
  22. Opposite for me, I was hitting the JPX much better. I can't wait to break em in and see what my feelings are then.
  23. I'm starting to take steps to take my golf game to the next level, and I don't know if I should spend $20 to have a machine tell me which one is the best ball for me. I Can tell you right now I use Srixon Z Stars, but I want to make sure I have the right ball for my game. When you did your fitting, did you use the ball they recommended and see any results? Let me know!!
