1-3 per round depending on how open the course is. I dont buy expensive balls yet. Ive played rounds with one ball before, but ive never thought to keep the ball as a trophy. My GF would probably think im crazy.

It depends on if i know the course well or not. At my usual course i dont keep a score card, i just remember how much above par i am. Its only a 9 hole course, so its not to difficult to remember what happened where. .

+1 for 6 months (basically the first season). I didnt practice too much though. range once a week golf once per week/two weeks. Get a lesson from a pro and read Ben Hogans 5 Lessons. Itll help you out alot since you just started. Also, thats ALOT of golf. Be carefull your not tiring yourself out. That will work against you.

The day golf becomes too fustrating to be worth my time and money i will quit. Believe me, like everyone else probably has, ive been close to giving up before. But the good times still far outnumber the bad! Other than golf, beer is most likely going to get the best of me in the end. Im ok with that.

Everything i did today. Bad slices. duffing. chipping 3 TIMES to get on the green and then 3 putting. 4 putting. Shot a 51 on an easy 9 hole course. F**king worst day of golf ive had this year. I did have some good shots. But as usual, theyre over shadowed by the bad ones.

i didnt get to see the round today but when i checked the leaderboard i was suprised to see him on top. Ill be watching tomorrow for sure.

LMAO! a remote controlled cart! That would seriously slow my play down. I would be playing with the remote controlled cart more than golfing. How funny would that be to see a golf cart driving around the course with no one in it. Takes ghost riding to a whole new level! I could see the jackass guys pulling off something like this. It would be good for an electronics project, but not practical on the course. Great idea tho. I want one.

Keep the design basic and concentrate on creature comforts. Maybe a different color and a logo you make for yourself to represent your project when presenting it but no flashy bling. Just look at what what makes a golf cart good and make it better/tweak some things. I like the idea of channelling water off the roof. Maybe some padding to help people like me when hitting their head on the roof while getting in and out. Ive had golf carts with GPS, an ice chest, and a ball/club cleaner on it. it was SWEET! Go to a golf course where alot of people ride and catch people AFTER their round of golf. Some people might get ticked with someone asking em questions while theyre trying to warm up. Ask em what they like, dont like, and would like to have added on their carts. Im sure youll get alot of different answers. Good luck brother! Post pics when finished. P.S. I would love to have a cool, damp towel on hand for those hot days so i can cool off for a sec in between holes.

Im in the same boat. I want to go from shooting bogey golf to shooting around +9 on my rounds. What im working on mostly right now is my driving and irons. My putting and pitching are decent enough for now. But i havent been able to get it to, or close to, the green in reg and its been killing my scores. So for right now im putting the short game to the side until i have a reliable long game. Guess you have to realize where your falling short and concentrate on that.

I had the same problem this spring. COULD NOT get my swing in order. Inconsistant driving and very bad iron play plagued me. I picked up Ben Hogans 5 Lessons book and it helped me alot with me swing/ball striking. If you havent read it, leave now and get a copy.

Im in my recliner, all set up to watch the tourney in HD. Turn on the pre game show and the first thing i see is an image of a camera tower blown over onto one of the greens. Play suspended. Stupid wind! Anyone else feel my pain?

Adams RPM Irons ($200). Thats what i play. Awsome irons for the price. I play and love em as a high handicapper. I dont know if they come in longer shafts, maybe contact adams?

I havent been able to get my swing in order this season. Hitting the ball VERY fat, inconsistant drives, and a total inability to hit my fairway wood. A total wreck! I picked up Bens 5 Lessons a couple days ago and took what i learned to the range and after about 10 balls i was hitting them better than i ever have. Absolutely AMAZING. Im still having trouble with my long irons but everything else clicked right in. I played 9 holes after and i had zero short game. But i could care less because i only hit 1 bad iron shot! the ball was coming off my club pure, straight, and longer then ever! Lower handicap here i come. Best 12 bucks i ever spent.

Just got done reading the 5 Lessons. WOW it explained and simplified everything. i havent gotten to the range to try it out, but im confident it will improve my swing. Im having my GF read it next.
