That's awesome... my friend has them and I really wanna get them. I can't hit his though because I am lefty, but I'm hoping to demo them soon, and hopefully get them.
-
Yeah no problem... usually calling them is more effective than e-mail. If you call and make it a big deal they are more likely to replace it for you. Also, how do you like your MP-60s?... I was thinking about getting those

You should probably call Titleist, and see what they think. They will definitely tell you what size it is if they don't fix it for you.

I am about to order a few of these grips for my wedges, and driver. Can't wait to try them out.

true... just makes it more confusing too

you can do it in TW 2005, but its just changing the holes around you can't really design your own.

anyone else like playing mini golf?
-
I built an 18 hole mini golf course in my backyard about 3 years ago. It was a hit with the neighbors.
-
Haven't tried them yet, but once they hit stores I'm going to buy some. There might be a bit confusion because the new NXT Tours are going to be like the old NXTs... the softer of the 2. The NXT Extremes are gonna be the harder ones with less spin like the NXT Tour.

Whenever I'm playing with other people or myself I like to putt everything out, but if someone gives me a putt ill just kind of side tap it in, or if it was after a long putt ill accept them hitting it over to me. This is the thing though... I like to putt everything out because if you get into the habit of just giving short putts to yourself when you are playing competitively you will might miss a few of those short ones and wished you had practiced putting them all out.

Thinking about switching from V1 to V1x
bflat450 replied to P3R3's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I made the switch... I was a big Prov1 fan for a long time, but my swing speed got a lot faster and I was just spinning it too much. I switched to the prov1x and never looked back. -
If you could just flick it off your leg then you are totally fine. It usually takes a tick over 24 hours to feed and then inject the spirochetes into your blood system. Even if that happens you still have a chance it doesn't have lyme disease, and if it does if you catch it early you can get rid of it real quick with antibiotics. If you wait too long though it can really get very bad and hurt you and not go away for a long time. Just about 2 weeks ago I was playing with 2 other guys and we were waiting on every tee to hit because of the group in front of us. As we were hitting our approach shots on the 7th one of the guys starts talking to me about how there is a million balls in the woods parallel to this hole, but there is a tall metal fence so you need to enter from the 8th tee. Sure enough on the 8th tee we are waiting to hit, and he asks me if I wanna go with him and go get some of the balls so I say sure. We walk into the deep woods for about a minute then come to this stone wall. Sure enough there are A MILLION GOLF BALLS! ALL AROUND! ENDLESS AMOUNTS! I was like wow you weren't kidding. So I filled my pockets with about 25 balls about half which were prov1s , and headed back to the 8th tee and filled my golf bag with new balls. Later that night before I go to sleep I remembered that I was in the woods so I checked myself for ticks. Sure enough there is one all the way up on the inside of my thigh, and is bitten into me. So I go to the bathroom take some tweezers and try to pull him out, but he was bitten in so after about 3 more tries I got him then killed him in a cup of alcohol. It is now 2 weeks later, and there are no red spots near the bite spot to be found, and I am fine!

It is really funny to hear people say they drive it 300 yards regularly. Me,a long hitter, doesn't even hit it 300 very often. I think i've only hit about 5 300 yard drives in my life. I usually average about 280 on a good drive. One time I definetly hit a 300 yard drive because I was playing a 340 yard par 4 and the tees were back and I hit the edge of the greenside bunker past the end of the fairway.

So I got the biggest surprise yesterday v.driver

awesome . -
that is awesome! my best shot of the week so far is probably today when I hit my 2nd shot on a long par 4 about 3 feet from the pin spinning it backwards
-
yeah I didn't think it was Titleist's work

Played a quick 9 this afternoon and finished at about 5:30. Had a pretty good 9 holes shooting 39. 4 bogeys ouch. Birdied the 4th what a beautiful hole that was. Bombed a drive straight out then hit my beloved 56 degree vokey to within about 4 feet of the pin spinning my prov1x backwards in the process from about 80 yards out. I was hitting my driver really far and straight which really helped me score well because I was closer to the green and on the fairway. So I'm pretty happy with my performance today... didn't really feel like playing 18. Also, got my shoes re-spiked after the round. Can't wait to play again with the new spikes.

I don't think interest in golf is slipping, I think that its just harder for most people to make the commitment to it. Many people have jobs, children, spouses. I mean to really keep up with the sport will also take a big hit from your wallet, and your schedule. Two things that people really value a lot. To really take an interest in golf you have to commit to it especially if you want to be good.

Yeah par 3s are ideal... I was playing with 3 other people about a week ago as a 4 some and we let a single play through us on a par 3 because he was pretty good and you could tell he was waiting to hit his shots so we let him through. Whenever I play as a single I usually play through groups. Today we were a 3 some and there was a 4 some in front of us who was sooo slow. The thing that annoyed me the most was that they would rush off the tee so we couldn't play through, then they would hit bad shots and be looking for them and all over the place holding us up big time. We had to wait on every tee. Major bummer, but I still played well.

you mean this http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Titleist-Vok...yphotohosting? I have a spin milled vokey, but it doesn't have the colored dots, I'm not sure what models these are because I have never seen them before and they are not on the big golf website such as tgw or golfsmith. Hmm they seem a little different from mine. More bounce I think.

Titleist... without a doubt.

Yeah, definetly. -
Dunlop RedNeck 540cc Forged Driver
bflat450 replied to golf_newbie's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Yeah, but by using a driver like this its only going to make the driving game for him harder when he becomes a more serious player. He should really start off with a 400cc driver then use a 460.
