Hmmm.... that's actually a good idea. cheap and easy to make and carry around. Just don't do the jam right? =P

Banana for some reason gives me a bit of stomach issues if I eat it during the round and by itself. But I'll try the trail mix + gatorade this time. As long as it's low in fat.

I used to just feel the yardage, but now that my game is much more precise, I do need my range finder and gps. This helps a lot to learn what my actual yardages are in winter and summer.

LOL, that's a funny response. I have 15 slots in my bag and I carry a shotgun so... =D I wipe my clubs after every shot, but that doesn't slow me down =) Anyways, of course there'll be older / slower people , bad players , etc... but I hope that the OP is referring to people who just for example drink beer then gossip with his fellow golfer before every single shot and just don't have any consideration for the rest of the golfers behind him . Then yes, that's not cool and will cause a lot of unhappy golfers. If the golfer is slow because he is bad, then start picking up the ball and move on. All in all, I think the key is being balanced. Not too fast and not too slow and everyone is happy =)

It happens automatically for me, the faster I swing the more lean it has it seems, not by much though. And honestly... I think that whoever is doing the marketing for golf products needs to be fired. It's some of the worst infomercial / commercial / marketing I have seen so far. Plus those tour pros they hired to do the commercials, should not have happened. So I don't buy the products, unless I can demo the product myself and make my own decision if it's cool or not.

Best travel bag / case for golf traveling
Sai-Jin replied to Sai-Jin's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Thanks for the vouch, Erik. Now I feel 100% better about getting it. Tough to do research, since no one has clubglider and no store has it either. -
Do you guys know if Gatorade can replace some of the food intake?

So I know that I start to get rather tired starting around the 13th / 14th hole . I can't seem to swing at my full performance anymore, unless I start eating and getting more energy. I was told by a pro that rather than swinging and crushing all my drives and irons, it'd be best if I swing at 80% through out the round consistently. The one thing that makes my shot worse is the fatigue on my left leg and hip mainly. If Erik and other more experienced golfers can give me a routine / tip, it'd be appreciated. PS: I have to admit that I'm stubborn and too proud to not swing at 100% . . . perhaps I need to learn.

Thanks guys, I think I have made my decision. I'm getting the Club Glider Meridian . + the Stiff Shaft from Club Glove. Man, this will be the 4th sun mountain bag I buy. They make such awesome products. -
Master Scotty Cameron Putters: Worth It or Not? Thread
Sai-Jin replied to JEWMAH9701's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I really like my scottys . I think they are very good for feel on longer putts. But they are VERY soft thus can get damaged rather easily if you don't take good care of them. The price I think is too much though. $200 is ok. not $300 -
Think about it this way, if you are a great golfer and a newbie asks a question about a swing, you can perform the swing ONCE and google motion will detect it and type all the fundamentals for you into the post... just with ONE swing =D

I actually just got a 3H so what I have now is: Dr, 3W, 3H , 4H, 5i-PW + other wedgies. I don't think I'll ever get rid of my 3W , it's too important. Rather than choosing, how about having both?

Since I'm jap... for me it's Onigiri... and lots of water. It tastes really really good and gives you plenty of energy + carbs

Range finders for beginers
Sai-Jin replied to bigbear43's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
Def agree with Zeg. At least it'll give you confidence in which clubs to use. For me... I just become spoiled. I like my range finder... and right now it's being replaced and I find that I need to get used figuring out the yardage and used the wrong club half the time since I made a mistake in estimating the distance ^^ -
Honestly for the money... if you can get your R9 re-shafted, it'd cost you A LOT less. Depending on your swing, I think that 9* loft is too low for you. But again, that's based on my experience. If it works for you, then stick with it and get yourself fitted for a shaft that suits you and has a mid kick point. R9 is an awesome driver... I have supertri tp myself... Also have an R11 TP, but yea, not worth the $ if you love your supertri.

so does your putter look like new? Or can you tell they somewhat "shaved" it , worked on it, etc? Also, they took your old headcover and sent you this one? -
Amazing... makes me proud to be Japanese. And he's just a teenager too.

Best travel bag / case for golf traveling
Sai-Jin replied to Sai-Jin's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
after searching around and combing past the marketting ploys, I'm thinking of the CLubgliders Meridian from Sun Mountain and perhaps add the stiff shaft from club glove into it. Anyone know about how good this travel bag is? Looks sturdier than club glove last bag and has 4 wheels. -
I saw some of his Youtube vids. Just from what I see: 1. I think he is a very nice person to work with and to socialize. 2. He is very analytic. 3. You may or may not like his style, but you have to try it out until you can decide. For me personally his youtube vids are a little too long. But I think that's because I know what I know now already and want to know 1 or 2 specific things that's pretty fast to read. If you like him, you should try him out. it's better to try out the unknown that attracts you than a person you don't care for. =)

Ooo, I've been wondering about it. I have an SS 2.7 which they don't make anymore. And I got some nicks on the face from playing on an aerated green -_- yes, dumb of me... So $145 huh? Refinish, new grip , etc and overnight s.h included. Not a bad deal considering the putter itself is $300 -
Eating too much protein than the body needs is a waste. And it will go to "waste". The best bet is to get a real trainer and really measure you up. Because there's stages of losing weight. I helped a friend of mine who was 265 Lbs, 5'10 I taught him for 3 months, 3 times a day and even created his diet menu. and the other 2 days he goes himself for cardio It was harsh for him, but he managed to lose 16 Lbs in 3 week ish. Well, the next 2 months was a nightmare, he was lazy, unmotivated and wouldn't listen to me anymore so he regained it plus more. The diet and cardio will make you lose weight, then the protein and weight training will give you energy to supplement your muscles from wear and tear. Again, it's best if you find a trainer who is a true professional. Not those crappy people from a place like 24-hour fitness. Another tip is that look for a trainer whose body you like. Because that trainer usually will train you the way he trains himself. Good luck

I'm glad it's not, because I changed my swing so that on the back swing, my head is really still and it feels like I'm putting a lot of pressure on my left foot. And I found out that it's close to S&T; method. It's been working great for me . -
R9 supertri vs. burner 2.0 and r 11
Sai-Jin replied to davidson11's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I have the Supertri TP and upgrading to the R11 TP . the R11 feels great and I'd say a tad less resistance due to the 440cc head. I also have the SUperfast... but it's only been used3 maybe 4 swings... the shaft feels rather flimsy for me. When I swing it, it feels as if it's an R shaft rather than an S .
