Agreed. Many of the seasoned gentlemen I play with have taught me this. Saved me a good 3-5 strokes a round. As one guys puts it, "There is no place for what club you used on your score card." -
Does it start out straight for 150 yards or so and then slice or does it slice as soon as your club hits your ball?

That close to the green I would recommend using your pitching wedge and bump it up and let it roll. Much easier to control than a 56 imho. -
LOL! Yes, this is a definite. Does the menu change quite frequently? I play with someone who acts like they have a new menu every week!

Proper Grip Pressure (It's Firmer than You Might Think)

I am right handed. I have been taught to have a firm grip with my last 3 fingers and wrap the club not in the palm of the hand, but wrap the meaty part over. The right hand is there to guide and that is all. Wrists, arms and shoulders should be loose like wet noodles. It all follows the rotation of your hips and I'll be darned if it doesn't work... simplicity of the golf swing. -

Nice, not many people know where Fallbrook is. We are fortunate to have many great courses very close. One of my personal favorites is Cross Creek; out in the De Luz area. If you are ever in the area look me up and we will go play.

Signed up a few weeks ago, but wanted to drop in and introduce myself properly. My name is Matt and I frequent our local course daily, Fallbrook Country Club. I am a 13 handicap with a wicked slice that is slowly being straightened.

I started playing golf consistently in January of this year and was scoring 105-112. After solid practice and many rounds I broke 100 in February and 90 in April. I am consistently between 86-92 now. My new goal is to break 80 by the end of the Summer.
