  1. I had the Cameron Red X2, and have recently traded it for the white hot xg Odyssee. Love the Camerons but i couldnt pass up the feel and forgivness of the Odyssee.
  2. 10 skins and 20 for the garbage. 25 for eagles, and 10 for par 5s in two.
  3. I use to only hit the Titleist pro v, a friend of mine who is a PGA member suggested I try the: Top Flight DD2 feel, wow was i impressed. The DD2 had very good fell and realy seem to grab the greens. I have to say ive prob lost about 4 yards off my clubs, but gladly for the feel with my wedges, short irons and putter. Wow the feel in my putter was amazing. For the Price difference i have to admit I bought 3 boxes. There harder DD2 i didnt not have the same result, so if like a lot of fell I have to recomend the TOP FLIGHT DD2 fell. Cant say i found any great differences in ball flight like the dimple in dimple technology claims. But I was sold on the feel.
  4. I had the R7 Draw and i hit it realy long and did have a regular flex shaft in it but I really liked the club. I'm not sure what the price difference is, but the 425 with the four movable weights won me over I use both on the course along with original R7 Quad, R7 Super Quad, Big Bertha C4. I love the TaylorMade Drivers. But my choices in order go 425 R7, R7 draw, Super Quad, Quad, and then the BIG BERTHA. The shaft is what is real important. Get on the simulator, and ur swing speed and ball will choice a shaft for you the rest is just personal feel. The Draw was a little light and SuperQuad was a little heavy, and the 425 was what felt good to me. Find the right shaft and youll find you club alot faster. All your local retailers will all shafts in all models.
  5. Hard Tale, I played golf in highschool, but mostly focused in other sports. I graduated went to college and played here and there, but about six months ago I decided I wanted to get back in to the game. My fiance wanted to go play, long story short golf lessons come into play. I would suggest looking for an instructor in ur area and let him look at your swing and if you dont want to spend and atleast get a box set that is right for you. Par three is the best wasy to learn. Buy a good set of irons, a good putter. And hit the course. Good luck.
  6. Two answers if the big shot puts u deep in the wood or with no angle to the pin, take the shot out of the woods or the layup shot very seriously. Try to put the shot as close to a spot as u can. Often coming out trouble u have the length of a fairway or atleast the width. If you miss ur spot often, youll still be in good shape. If you hit your spot great, either way its a step in the right direction. Putting and the recover are separated good and great rounds regardless of your handicap.
  7. DRIVERS:Alright as a new golfer with an 11 handicap, i've found that the Taylormade R7 drivers are very forginving. I also feel the movable weight tech., provided a littler mental boost for a stungleing slice or hook. I prefer to fix my swing rather than adjust the weight. IRONS: I tried the calloway x2, and the taylormade r7, also the cobra irons, I had a the golf shop pro talk me into buying a set of walter hagen SB5 irons. At first in the simulator the performance was great but I was still a little concerned with suck an unknown brand, but I couldnt be more pleased with these irons. The most solid set of irons iv'e ever held. WEDGES: Titleist vokey spin milled enough said. PUTTERS: I've used several scotty camerons including the red X2, non compare to the feel and role of the Odyssey White Hote XG. A little long winded first post.
