I do it all the time. It's great for practice. Go out on the 3rd nine and work on shots while he has some fun too! It's also a great excuse to go practice. "Hey honey, I'm gonna go out to the course for a couple hours, you mind if I take the boy?" I am always VERY aware of our surroundings and make sure not to hold anyone up.

You sound just like me. I was 2 over after 8 yesterday , playing pretty well when I yanked my drive to the tall shit on #9 par 5. tried the miracle shot to hack out, didn't work, ended up with an 8. Now I'm pissed and double 2 of the next 3 holes before I re-gain my composure. Finished 11 over, but was 8 over on a 4 hole stretch because of my inability to "let it go" at times.

I normally put GL under the putting aid of whatever ball I'm playing (currently srixon z-star-x) in purple sharpie. My kids initials. Georgia and Louis.

Yea, it was all because of greedy wall street. Had you noticed that throughout the Bush administration the budget of the Securities and Exchange Commission grew steadily? Where were you in 2002 when President Bush signed the Sarbanes-Oxley Act into law, subjecting the economy to more, not less, regulation? Are you aware that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, both government-sponsored entities, both under pressure from Congress, devoted tens of billions to the purchase of dubious mortgages, in effect creating the market for the very subprime instruments that got us into this mess? Greedy Wall Street indeed.

On the practice green I like to pick a nice straight 10' putt and roll it to the hole. And then 3/4 to the hole, and then 1/2 way. It kinda helps me get a feel for distance. On the course, one thing that has helped me is to pace off the distance. Visually I know I don't need to hit a 10' putt harder than a 30', but to actually pace it off, and get a feel for the distance seems to help get the proper pace.

We take old golf-balls where we shoot to use as targets. Problem solved! ;) Nice gun BTW!

After going 12-over through 7 and in the left rough on #8 I said to myself to stop the crap and par-in. Hit the 8i from 150 to 3' and went on a tear from there. 5 pars 2 birdies and one bogey in the next 8 till a buddie mentioned "Hey, you could go 34 on the back".......... finished Bogey, Double, Double........

talk about a tale of 2 nines. 48-38 Sunday. was 12-over (with a QUAD on the par-3 #4) after 7, when I said to myself I was going to shape up and par the rest. Pared 8 & 9 to make my 48. Bogied 11, then pared 12, 13 birdie 14 w/ a 22' putt to go even on the back. 15 is a par 3, I left it pin high left on the fringe. Drained the put, also 22' for birdie. The Randy says," Hey man, you can go 34 on the back just paring in.....normally this is a decent proposition as I finish strong......not today, missed a 3' putt for par on 16, so I'm even on the back. Double the par 5 17, and bogie #18 for a smooth 3 over 38............Man I Love/Hate this game!!!!!!

Depends on what insects. We have bad Buffalo Gnats around here this time of year and Vanilla is about the only thing that works to keep them away. Mosquito's need something with deet.

I was 38-43 yesterday. finished bogey, double, double, bogey...........very disappointing.

37-38 = 4 over 75! minus my 11.6 = 64 NET! w00t! Played asleep today. Everything was effortless. 29 putts. 6 bogies 2 birdies. rest of the stats in the scorecard.
