  1. I played one that has 9 greens. You use different tee boxes on the back nine. Good idea I guess if you are limited on space.
  2. I have played the last 3 rounds with the TaylorMade Black. I have to say I really like the ball. Notice the most difference around the greens. I've never been able to get a ball to stick on the greens like I can with this ball. I also like the feel and sound off the driver. Just my .02
  3. I changed mine around to neutral low the other day at the driving range. I couldn't get a handle on the ball. I would hit some really great shots that seemed to go a little further but they were few and far between. So I set it back to neutral high and was smacking them straight again.
  4. I played a couple rounds with a guy who ONLY uses Irons. Its pretty neat seeing someone knock a 3 Iron straight down the fairway every time past your driver shot
  5. I called Odyssey and they told be that the heads were all the same weight. So I brought it to the local golf shop and had 1 1/2 taken off. I really like the way the putter feels when I address the ball now. Oh they also added some led weight in the shaft to keep the balance and head weight the same as before. Ill try it out this weekend and see.
  6. Well I'm aslo 5'-7" and the guy who was fitting me said I need a 29 1/4" shaft on my puter. That sounded like alot to me so thats one reason I wanted to get some feed back. I was thinking of taking off 2" at the absolute most. I might try 1" first and see how that does.
  7. I reciently was fitted for a putter and need to take off 4 3/4 inches off the shaft. I currently have the Odyssey Black Series #2 putter and called Odyssey and they said it would be ok to cut the shaft that it would not mess with the specs of the putter. I just want to know if anyone else has done this. Did you have to adjust the mechanics of you swing due to the shorter shaft? Any help will be appreciated.
  8. I got the chance to swing both the Burner and Quad a couple weeks back. I was more consistent with Quad so thats what I went with. I was however able to hit the ball about 15-20 feet further with the Burner.
  9. Well I have a 9.5 degree driver and I have no problems getting the ball in the air. I even think I'm getting it to high off the tee box at times. I noticed this past weekend that the ball didn't appear to roll like I'm used to. It dosen't help that this weekend was the first time playing with my new driver. I'm going to finish the rest of the box and maybe give the e6 a try, but I don't have a slice problem. So I dont know.
  10. well I played a round yesterday with the e5 and I can say I don't have any problem getting the ball in the air. When hitting off the tee box, I think they might be getting a little too high because I didn't notice them rolling to far. The course was also a little wet since its been raining here lately. Im going out again tomorrow and Ill give them another try. All in all, I like the feel off the tee box and greens
  11. I just purchased the TM QUAD and love it. It has added on average about 15yds to my drives. Also helped with my slice.
  12. i know the e6 is geared more for players with a slice or hook. I really don't have that problem (knock on wood). Im going to try the e5 today. Ill report my findings.
  13. I just purchased a set of R7 Irons. I LOVE THEM!!! They have a solid feel to them. Good Luck!
  14. Well I just picked up a box so I'll try them out Friday We shall see.
  15. I am looking to get some feedback from anyone who has used this ball. It was recommended to me from someone at my local golf shop when I was buying some new clubs. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
  16. I recently picked up the Black Series #2 putter and love it. I really like the weight this thing has.
  17. I was fitted for a putter a while back and the black series #2 putter was recommended as the best for me. I love it. I had a tendency to leave the ball short with my previous putter and now I'm doing much better.
  18. I have the Titleist S74 staff bag and love it. Its pretty much water proof, which is a good thing since it rains almost everyday here in south Louisiana.
