  1. I agree with it tasting terrible. Maybe "water" it down? I will try it out sometime.
  2. Nobody else saw this? Kinda stupid to believe that everyone who picks up the game of golf has been informed of this. I just picked up playing the game again, and even when I used to play as a kid, no one informed me of this. If you really wanna fix the problem, you need to spread the word on how to do it properly, rather than say "I hate how inconsiderate people are!" When in all reality they were being "inconsiderate" because they did not know.
  3. As topspin said, all the players left knew it was the final round. But only thing to away from Dustin Johnson was that playing under par for 54 holes is one less day to get mentally worn out.
  4. The towel drill. Sounds like something that could really benefit me. Thanks for the tip. Oh, and keep going man. Becoming the best I can be at golf is a journey I'm about to embark on here once I get a club membership with my next paycheck.
  5. He came so close at The British. I think wins like these will only get him closer to that major win.
  6. Yeah, I just remember seeing a PGA Tour player not teeing up his iron shot. I think it was a par 3 though.
  7. Yeah, I can only assume I'm gonna be pretty short yardage since I've been out of golf for a while. But I'm down to start out using just my irons/wedges/putter for a while. I really just need to solidify my swing motion before I go trying to smash the ball with a driver. Another question I have is, as a beginner, should I be teeing up my irons, or just play it like a fairway shot straight off the grass?
  8. Another great youtube golf lessons guy: This guy puts it into such simple terms. Something I really need as a golfer. I'm already feeling better about my swing, considering a week ago I felt like someone who has never tried the game of golf in his life.
  9. And they thought the Open Championship was gonna be bad...
  10. Sounds like a good idea. But no 3 or 4irons? I'm still trying to mess with my plan cause I won't be out on the course until I can buy some cheap soft spike golf shoes.
  11. Hope this coupon code is still active by the first week of September when I'll have the money to buy one.
  12. It's not about how good they are musically. Cause they were all pretty bad singers. It was the humor, at least in Golf Boys.
  13. This guy has really helped me out so far.
  14. I'm not even gonna click Golf Girls. Where the hell is Yani Tseng? I agree completely, Golf Boys beats that one out by thousands of miles. Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler need to do a co-vlog series. I know they've appeared in each other's video blogs, but what about just doing a video blog each major tournament week. I think it would be great for golf.
  15. Here's the thing I gotta ask. Is it a bad thing to work one club-type at a time? Does it make any sense to play with only using your irons/wedges for more than a few rounds to get those figured out, then playing some rounds with the driver/woods? My plan right now is to play a good month with just the irons/wedges on the course, while hitting the driver and woods on the range, then once I start feeling comfortable with my driver and woods, start using them on the course. Basically I'm trying to eliminate hitting balls way out of bounds until I feel comfortable enough.
  16. Par a hole.
  17. The Masters- Augusta, GA - Keegan Bradley US Open-Olympic Club San Franciso, CA - Rory McIlroy (Prediction: Rory is gonna be great in the U.S. Open consistently throughout his career) Open Championship-Royal Lytham & St. Annes - Rickie Fowler PGA Championship -Kiawah Island, SC - Tiger Woods
  18. Rickie Fowler is gathering more people to golf, if you can believe it. I think he personally deserves a captain's pick with how consistently he's placed in the big events. But then again, you can say the same thing about Keegan Bradley as far as consistently playing well.
  19. Excuse me if this is a dumb question... but I'm relatively new to playing golf. Does this glove have any problem working with the interlock grip?
  20. Matt Ewald! Don't know him, but he's from my hometown, so I have to root for him!
  21. I think this is the case with me. I went out and played my first round of golf, and all I could think about was making sure I was doing the right thing. By doing that, I ended up not doing the right thing and posted a ridiculously high score on an $8 9-hole golf course.
  22. If you clearly can't hit a driver anywhere near the fairway, you might as well go with a club you are better with, right? For me, I struggle BADLY with the driver. It almost feels pointless trying to used it at this stage. I'd rather master my irons and putter, and save the driver and woods for the range, than post a higher score with the clubs I can't even properly hit the ball with.
  23. I think the idea is that it helps the mindset. You won't be as nervous about your shots if you have more strokes to par, amirite?
  24. I will be doing this from now on. Considering I'm a terrible golfer right now, and my most embarrassing shots are with the driver, I really think this will help me. Although it is apparently an old strategy, thanks for the tip.
  25. This is my favorite style of course as far and layout goes. Not a very good golfer, but I imagine this would be a great trip to make.
