Golf is also meant to be fun. If fluffying gives a weekend golfer more enjoyment from the game, go for it. I don't agree that this somehow means you are not playing golf or those who "play by the rules" are somehow superior. Each to his own unless you are playing tournament golf.

My course has been flooded every spring except this last year for the last 4 plus years. Consequently, even the fairways are spotty. I will play winter rules when playing weekend golf. On men's night or tournaments, no fluffy and I play strictly by the rules. On the weekends I am really just playing against myself.

For the last few years, I have pulled my 3 metal out of the bag and gone strictly with a Cobra Baffler 2-H on the fairway. Tried a Rocketbalz 3 metal at the end of the year and may back to a fairway wood. Thoughts on Rocketbalz fairway vs. Ping G20 3 metal? Anyone have experience with the senior shafts? Thanks.

I have a tendency towards a fast downswing with my driver which results in a push. Any suggestions on maintaining a smooth downswing.

I have a Cobra 17 degree Bafler Rail H. Seldom put the 3 wood in the bag because of the distance and consitency I hit this hybrid.

Is fitting for a gap wedge necessary?

Fitted for PIng G15's this year. I wanted a gap wedge and asked the pro if I should go with the Ping G15 U wedge or another wedge. He immediately recommended going with the gap wedge provided in the G15 set. No question in his mind that was the way to go since I was fitted for those irons. -

The OP doesn't appear to have even read the S & T book. Grip and posture are both covered. All the fundamentals are there. What I like about the stack and tilt is its simplicity and repeatability. The concepts are also logical. I have been using S & T for two years and my ball striking has improved dramatically. Now I need to learn how to sink those 10 footers consistently. -

No spring flooding for 2012. Backup is dozen Q Star golf balls. Thinking conservatively since this season I purchased new Ping irons and also Garmin S1. Love both.

Golfing in November in North Dakota is a plus, provided you have lots of layers of warm clothes and good winter gloves. Today was the last weeken before the course shuts down. Even with the 42 degrees and 25 mph winds, I am hate to see the season come to and end.

We have inground and I beleive that the deep end is 9 feet. This is plenty deep. I would want the larger pool size more than having pool deeper on the diving end of the pool.
