yeh he says under pressure he can hit a low cut off the heel which he can get into play, not as long as his usual drives but he can control it

Yeh I suppose it is what your comfortable with, I play x-forged irons which are notch back blades i suppose!

Reminds me of the youtube of Tiger were he says he stands too clos to his driver on purpose to hit a heel cut to get it in play

I was thinking of putting two lines down my driver at either side of the top of the head, creating a square look. I like the idea of squaring the driver without buying a new one, and reckong this would be easy to line up. Is this allowed?

Guess its personal preference, I was looking players irons but the r7 tps were both cast and chunky looking, I hated them and I am a Taylor Made guy at heart Tried to hate the Callaways but they were just too pretty and sweet to hit! Pls they come with great shafts

Tested and hated the r7 tps Not a fan of cast clubs and i found them to feel awful, going from my forged TM 300 series irons Ended up with Callaway X Forged irons which im loving!! I'd recommed the mizunos mp30 irons, really liked them on test

yeh im really happy with it, just hitting it a bit high, think the stock stiff is a bit whippy looking a new shaft but no idea what to go for

Swing speed (driver) would be around 110, pretty fast swing i guess, ball flight very very high and fairly straight but if i miss its to the right, i am able to work the ball I'm looking for a much lower flight, workability is an issue although i'm not sure how much forgivness shafts offer my handicap is 9, although i am an excellent striker and my deficiences lie in other areas hitter or swinger? anything else?

Sounds like your coming over the top (or outside to in) with a closed clubface due to the strong grip that would explain the ball starting left i guess

Looking to replace tha shafts in my driver, 3 wood and possibly hybrid I hit them way too high and would like a more boring flight! I like my shafts stiff flex, so if you could recommend something that would be great!!

My last set of irons were 1 inch plus 2 degrees upright I don't believe adding an inch effectively adds 2 degrees, i think you still need to add the 2 degrees. I had half an inch put on my wedges, a whole inch is just too much length to add to the short clubs. i doubt its worth getting the wedges made upright either!

picked up an odyssey xg marksman blade, in my head i wanted to hate it but i couldn't miss. Really wanted to like the scotty detour but it was horrible, i hate the bendy alignment aid. Well, lets see if this short stick lasts longer than the 6 week red x

put it on ebay on a 1 day auction as i needed the cash sold it for £100 which was ok seen i bought it for £150 just got to head up to the golf store later and pick out a new putter. all this on the same day my custom x-forged irons arrived with me :) 2 weeks practice before the club champs!
