Golf Swing of a 2.9 Index... NOT! :-P
Golf4life replied to iacas's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
nice video recording with that camera. i need to get me one and finally record my swing. Now here comes the noob question: How were you able to get it in a quick time format and upload. It's so much easier to view someone's swing and be able to slow it down manually. -
you wouldnt be referring to the days of Nancy Lopez and Laura Davis?
-
you know while watching the Solheim Cup, i found Nicole Castrale very cute ... I dont know maybe it was her game. She really step it up.. Anna is hot!

Bettinardi putters are really nice. I've heard so many people say, their SC are now in the close after putting with a Bettirnadi. I've tested the C series and they are awesome.

I think what you may feel is a really hard board feeling. I hit X-stiff so for me it's just fine. I hit a regular flex once and it felt like a noodle. I think my hands was past the ball and the club head was still coming around my back. i was slicing it like no tomorrow. Go get properly fitted, do not second guess what shaft flex you need, otherwise it's going to cost you more money.

Ok.. I'll start... I've never hit the RAC MB TP although i have held them, and for some reason i felt a really good connection with them, IMO they are one of the best looking blades in the market. I wouldn't be surprise if by the same time next year I have a set. The 32's I've hit on a few occasions into a net only, felt great, i did feel the ball jumping a bit higher than normal with the 6i. Obviously i have the 67's so I'm bias to them, only from the stand point that I've thoroughly tested them. My original shaft selection for the 67's was to go 3-5 with Flighted PX 6.0( for tight pin placements) and PX 6.0 6-pw. I had a few pro's advise the good and bad ultimately i stayed with PX6.0 all the way through due to being a predominantly high ball striker to begin with. My ss with 6i at 85% is at 92 i can get it in upwards of 98+ so that should put somewhere more towards a 6.5, it didnt feel confortable for me at all at 6.5. The trajectory was night and day for me compare to dgs300/400. I got the ball up farely quickly with the DGS300 with a high ball flight, I knew facing against any wind i would be dead in the water if a knock down shot not played. The PX sticks was a different story. I got a good penetrating trajectory and still kept my ball high, as a high as ball striker likes them. I think what was just as impresive was hitting knock down shot as well and still keeping roughly the same distance. I think from what you're indicating the RAC MB's to have a high ball flight, i think you may find it the same with the 32's and 67's.

Golf4life replied to Icehawk's topic in Golf Courses and Architecture
played cradon a little bit over month ago, friday morning w/cart 47.00 white/silver.. and from Light house point to St. Lucie practically all of them. Now live in NC, way better courses.. -
my swing has evolved *videos*

take video when you're actually hitting a ball. Anyone with a desent swing can demonstrate ok tempo and follow through with a practice swing. I like that twirl at the end, you got that down. -

Buying MP-60's...what shaft?????
Golf4life replied to green6767's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
how was your ball fight trajectory with the 60's? too high? the same? do yoiu have a steep angle of attack? do you have an upright plane swing or flat? -
everything you're discussing is based on speculation and hear say from a person using eye sight to gage your ss. If you never had a lesson by a pro instructor it's time you do so for best recommendation, then get fitted. Sounds like you have a good handle on your game, so spending 40.00 for a 1/2 session or so, i think it's worth every penney and perhaps the start of taking your game to the next level.

No! Hence why the ball is tee'd up. Your driver swing should be the most dynamic swing from any of your shots compared down to your putting, being probably the most static. That is why you should have a slight variance in your driving swing from a dynamic stand point, meaning your stance is a little bit wider and you may take your hands up to 12'clock on your back swing, but the swing remains the same, adjusting to the length of shaft which affects your swing plane. It all comes down to developing your tempo. In my experience, most people who FEEL like they are making a different swing are actually making such a miniscule change from their normal swing that, to the naked eye, there doesn't appear to be a difference. That's fine. It's almost more of a new "swing thought" than a change in the swing itself. Remember it's not how hard you hit the ball, is how well you swing through the ball.

I get it now, so that when hit a bad drive, you can just go back in time and do it again. -
Great article, I encourage alot of people to read it. The reason why I asked was because, someone was trying to sell X-Forge heads only for 1350.00 i said WTF!! is so specially about those heads?? But I'm sure some crazy nut will buy it.

RIGHT ARM! keep that right nice and inside. He does mention my favorite player of all time at the end.. Fred Couples....
-
On your setup.. try keeping your hands slightly behind the ball. Then as you take your club back try to either swing just a bit outside of the plane of the ball(this is what i do) or straight back the plane of the ball. On your way down....keeping that right hand inside, drop the club then release. BTW* this is a two plane technique you're learning.

Whatever happened to ....... INTEGRITY! if you have none, then i guess that would explain the reason to come up with an excuse.

If he keeps dressing like that, no he wont.. I luv it yesterday when what's his name said, yea Sergio is doing great, it looks like he's almost there to break out and win some majors. and Nick Faldo replies.... "or he's getting ready to caddie at Augusta" LOL.. that was too funny. The kid was wearing all white with a green cap...

First off you dictate what you want to work on, after all you're paying him. i can probably understand the first lesson, most instructors want to see your swing at it's simplistic form so they op for 7i swing. in regards to the Sumo2, did you test it out before you bought it... do you even know if that's the right shaft for you?
-
Once i settled with a particular driver. That's pretty much it... I've spent the time already doing the research, testing countless of hours, on shafts and heads just to get it right based on my swing. I'm also good enough to know that i can take just about any driver and i'll be able to drive it about the same +/- yds and roll... It would have to have a pretty good hype for me to change.

That's awesome.....

I hate it.. it looks like some kind of gift wrapping and i'll be wanting to touch it and take it off... But if you like it, that's all that counts... -
keep your head still. Just place the mouse curser over your head as your swinging and see how much it's moving. Also try to keep your hands slightly behind the ball.

1998 Doral. Blue Monster I was right next to T. Woods at the 18th hole as he it from the right bunker 148-yard, 7-iron shot six inches from the cup for a tap-in birdie.
