  2. yes it would
  3. nope, dont think i will ever buy one. My thoughts are, you can't tell what your swing is doing to the ball.
  4. .335 tip diameter
  5. or for a little bit more the mighty 33's
  6. Yes i have, I live in NC. carolina golf store had it.. I was amazed how forgiving they where. Also if you want Project X shafts i believe they can be ordered at no extra charge or 50.00. I think it's up to the store, i've heard diferent answers on this. P.S. the 701 Tours where also forgiving, targeting the mid-low handicap and are forged.
  7. Try the Srixon 701's, they're very forgiving. or the Mizuno MX-25
  8. not the same but used to own a set of dci 962's, luv them. i've hit the 690's like the look, not a bad set..
  9. KZG is probably the best you may find for the money.
  10. "Where have you been all of my life?" The Bobby Jones 21* wood by Jesse Ortiz, can be yours for 200.00
  11. try the cleveland hibore fw's also sonartec makes pretty good ones as well
  12. try the srixon 701's they have a high moi. Cleveland hibore xl and fairway are great from the cleveland family
  13. sounds like you've practice alot the physical aspect of the game. Remember the game is 90% being mentally focus. *pre-rep routines :both at the range and course *maximize your wherewithal of your game in order to capitalize on the positive and damage control the negative. *read books. Learn from the legendary players These are just a few things to do, that will help you.
  14. I believe the lof is 11*
  15. Man, I so want to pull the trigger on a Circa #2. the fact that i would have to cut it down to 33' is the only thing stopping me.
  16. i'll agree to this as well. Now, i think there is an old saying, when you haver a new putter, you'll putt good until it gets to know you . A good player may have a great understanding of putting. but we all don't have a teacher/instructor when we stray away, to get us back to correct form as easily. What you're going to get from a high end SC or Redwood along with many others is an undisputable balance, craftmanship and feel to your liking. If you like a milled w/ a little soft feedback you may want to check out GM2Exchange NC putters. I have a #4 and #6 Good luck!
  17. Cleveland, Vokeys, Mizuno and a few other reputable high end wedges will get the job done, as far as the performance that you're looking for. It should really come down to the feel and feedback you get from each of them to come up with your desicion. However, it's not going to matter what wedge you buy if you don't understand the principals of creating the necessary spin the shot requires. To me, the short game is mastered by constantly practicing and executing proper technique for the shot, so that when you are presented with a pitch shot, you'll be able to rely on your feel and the confidence the ball will do what you want it to do. Good luck!
  18. 690's are very nice.. 33's are better IMHO and are hard to get a hold off on Ebay
  19. I still have my Karsten PING persimmon driver. before the titanium days, thats what I loved using. I would hit it just as far (carry only, with no roll ) with great control.
  20. 56* is my main wedge followed by my 52* then 60*
  21. i do that when my tempo is off, works for me.... 1...2222222....3
  22. 35.. been playing off and on since 22. I'm hoping to give it a strong go at it, this next couple years.
  23. very cautiously.. I got some old geezers next to us, that you think they own the damn course. If i get my 10-20 chips in and putt a few i'm good.
  24. Have you also compared them to the MP-R Black Nickel sreies?
  25. Oh i'm S.O.L. In addition to having a few big trees, we had our windows tempered glazed which is designed to withstand greater impacts, and when it does break, it does so in many little pieces, just like your automobile windshield. In three years no problems thus far.
