  1. I got a shower head from aushwitz, lol jk.
  2. For the average person, you have to ease into this kind of training or you will end up over training and most likely injure yourself.
  3. I walk so I can afford to golf.
  4. Here are all the courses in my area within a 20 minute drive.
  5. You wouldn't be able to buy a very good diamond ring for the selling the clubs I got.
  6. Haha good one
  7. I usually hook when I have too tight of a grip with my glove hand, causes me to rotate the club through to quickly.
  8. I golfed nine holes today after work and I shot a 46, I basically took a club higher for every hit compared to what I was hitting with my previous set. As for comparing the lofts on the clubs, I could not find the specs on the internet for my original set of clubs but when you put the same club side by side you can tell the difference. Maybe the john daly were lower in loft than your average set of clubs, the slogan on the box said something like grip it and rip it. Anyways I hit the clubs a lot more solid today and feel like I will adjust fine, I still was not getting the distance back on my irons but I will just have to adjust that part of my game.
  9. I haven't messed with the handicap thing since I first joined the forum awhile ago. I will edit it later. I think the loft I can get used too, I will just have to spend a few nights at the range and figure things out. Thanks for everyones input.
  10. I am going golfing tonight, so I will give the adams another go and just have to club up from what I am used to using at certain distances.
  11. Don't really have the money to do that, barely have enough money to go golfing.
  12. To begin with I am not a great golfer, but I am not the worst golfer ever. I usually play nine holes most of the time when I go out and shoot around a 45-48. Well I have been golfing for about three summers now and I had been using a cheap set of john daly clubs from k-mart. For my birthday my wife bought me a new set of irons, the adams golf tight lies. I was thinking well adams golf is better than dunlop golf clubs but I don't know if I like them at all. All of the irons have a higher loft than my previous irons. I lost about 15 yards of distance on my 9 iron and I couldn't figure out what to hit anywhere on the course since every hit seems like it goes a mile high. So now I am stuck, I want to use my old irons but I don't want to piss the wife off. Should I stick it out with the adams clubs or risk the wife finding out that I am not using her gift to me?
  13. Clean wedge, urethane ball, good contact
  14. Take at least 10 practice swings until you get that swing motion that you want. Then line up watch the ball drop down right where you want it to.
  15. The big thing when I started using a lob wedge, was that the iron was so short and I found myself not keeping my shoulders at a good level and I would blade the crap out of it. Once I finally started keeping my head and shoulders down it was just as easy to hit the lob wedge as my pitching wedge.
  16. all my pars are blue collar, haha

yeah mine is a 60 degree. i love the club, took me a while to be able to use it correctly but now that I can hit it correctly it is a great weapon to have when your close to the hole
  18. I use a 60 degree and I love it drops the ball almost straight down with little roll.

On saturday I made a 35 yard chip with my lofting wedge, by far the best shot I have ever made, not to mention the longest. Just thought I would share that with everyone.
  20. I wonder how much distance he was losing on his shots because of that hitch
  21. I just went with a monday thru friday membership and that was significantly cheaper. Then on the weekends if I want to golf I can hit up a different course instead of playing the same holes all the time.
  22. I like the wilson I-wound. They seem pretty decent to me for not dropping a whole lot on balls.
  23. There is one at the course I play a lot. Its Irish Hills in La Crosse, WI. I think its 626 yards. You tee off on top of a hill and it drops down into a valley that dog legs to the left and then you have to hit uphill. Its a fun hole.
